Tilapia Tajen – سمك صياديه

Ingredients

  • 2 Tilapias
  • 1 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Cup Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Minced Onion
  • 1/2 Cup Garlic
  • 1 Bunch Chopped Parsley
  • 1 Bunch Chopped Dill
  • 1 Bunch Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt or to Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice

Directions

  • Cut each tilapia to 3 pieces.
  • Mix in the processor half the garlic and half the lemon juice with 1 teaspoon cumin, pinch of salt and hot Thai pepper if desired.
  • Marinade your fish.
  • Dip in almond flour on both sides.
  • Preheat your skillet and add avocado oil.
  • Fry fish on both sides until golden brown.
  • Or Spary your fish on both sides with avocado oil and spray your air fryer rack then air fry for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Set aside and prepare your tomato sauce.
  • In a pan add some oil and saute your Onions, bell pepper, garlic, and spices.
  • Add the crushed tomatoes, lemon juice, and fresh greens.¼
  • Mix then add the fried fish.
  • Let the fish cook in the sauce for a few minutes.
  • Take off heat and enjoy.
