Tajen Shrimp with Mushrooms – جمبري بالمشروم

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Jumpo Shrimp
  • 1 Pack mushrooms
  • 1 Piece of Red Pepper
  • 1 Piece of Red Pepper
  • 1 Piece of Yellow Pepper
  • 1 Cup Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Cup Ground Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Curry
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Onion Julian Sliced
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Corriander
  • 2 Tablespoon Butter or Avocado Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice

Directions

  • Pat dry your shrimp from any liquid, add 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Corriander, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon lime juice and mix.
  • Preheat your pan then add butter and put one layer at a time of shrimp.
  • Make a well in the middle and fry some Corriander and cumin for extra flavor.
  • Turn the shrimp on the other side and mix with spices.
  • As soon as color turns orange remove off heat and set aside.
  • Add butter, sliceed onions, garlic, spices, sliced bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  • If you want it spicy add 2 Thai chilis.
  • Let them soften and brown Abit with the spices then add crushed tomatoes.
  • As soon is it starts bubbling add back the shrimp.
  • Cook for 2 mins and remove off heat.
